Virtual Product Shots
All the product images shown below are virtual images created in Photoshop.
I have used virtual product shots – that is, product shots created virtually and convincingly in Photoshop – many times and in different ways.
There are some major advantages to this:
- create marketing media even when there is no product yet manufactured that can be photographed
- create templates that can be quickly modified for variants
- maintain a consistency that photography cannot easily match
- create templates that can be personalized
